I love this fragrance, but there is this weird waxy/oily smell that accompanies it. The smell is almost as noticeable as the fragrance is. I just got it a few weeks ago, so maybe if I let it sit for some time; the smell will dissipate. I would really like to know what that smell is because it is in the other fragrance that I got from them.

I went to Neiman Marcus not to long ago and, I had smelled a load of the Maison Francis Kurkjidan fragrances. Must say my favorite was Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait De Parfum. Yet the thing about it is, it costs hundreds of dollars. I needed a cheaper alternative and I was satisfied with my inspiration house; Barrett Fragrances. Smells good and last a decent amount of time. Idk if it me but the smell is very soft. And I wish it had more of a punch. But it's alot better than alt. Fragrances version

This truly does smell very similar to BR540! The presentation is very nice, although there is a significant scratch on the metal plaque, but the most important part is up to par. Looking forward to discovering more from this house.

Sell some smaller sample sizes like 0.75 ml for cheap so we ca test the fragrance for cheaper without having to blind buy for 50 or 12 dollars and ending up not liking it and wasting more money

I discovered this when at a grocery store. I thought they had sprayed the store with the most amazing air fragrance. Turned out to be one of the managers. She gave me the info to find it on this site and I have been enjoying it ever since.
I wore this and a guy told me I was wearing his favorite perfume. He thought it was Baccarat 540 and was surprised when I told him that it was an inspiration.
This is one of if not the best MFK B.R.540 dupes I have come across. The original doesn't have the best longevity, and I'm currently in the process of trying to determine the performance of this one. As far as being a replica though, they definitely got it right and for the price, you cannot do better!! I'm a fan now if BARRETT Frangrances!!!

The scent profile led me to the fragrance purchased. I had been wanting it for some time but could not figure out what the scent was. An attendant at my grocery store actually had this fragrance on and gave me the clues I needed to find it. I was very pleased to have hit the nail on the head. I am very impressed with the longevity of the fragrance as well as the very nice travel sprayer.
It really worth the money, it’s a excellent buy for a fraction of the original.

Light and sweet
Dupes are all about longevity and projection for me. While this version does both, there was a different note that I picked up on that went away during the dry down. I will allow it to macerate or sit before using it again. With that being said, unlike the OG, you do not have to wait for greatness. The original has that nose blind quality where you only get whiffs here and there. With this, it opens with the same noseblind quality, but you get the whiffs of greatness constantly throughout 6-8 hours.
