I’m very impressed with this fragrance! It has a really nice plum note that is not overpowering or too sweet. Perfect for the cooler days and highly recommend.

So first off, I enquired about my delayed order and the gentleman that helped me was so reapectul and truly wanted to make my experience a positive one, so instead of getting a full bottle and 2 10ml. He gave me. 2full bottle,
1 10ml
2 10ml bottle of a different scent.
2 2ml of another scent.
And as if that wasn't enough, he even offered another full bottle of anything I wanted.
So if that's not a strice for customer satisfaction, man I don't know what else is.

Tom Ford Plum Japonais Eau de Parfum is a discontinued scent that offers the mastery of Tom Ford that sadly most will have never experienced unless willing to spend a significant amount of money. I’ve been fortunate to own the OG and now be able to enjoy it with Barrett’s exceptional quality, scent and performance perfected with Enchoku-Enjoy!!
First off some background I got this bottle when Barrett first made it when he had the old presentation hence my bottle. Also no official label was made till now. There was roughly like 10-20 bottles of these that some people got as a bonus with purchase. I was luckily one of those people who got it free with purchase. So thank you Ross for the gift really appreciate it & glad it has finally came out today 7/31/23 this has been a while in the making probably had this for like like 4 months or more . I lost track of time on it.
So please excuse my unfancy label I just needed something to remind me what ot was. Now on to the fragrance.
Let me just say the king is here! From the jump you get slapped with this deep seductive plum note. Accompanied with a light cinnamon not overpowering as not to take over the top plus as that’s the main star here. Very hints of florals that give it a more seductive twist that can still lean unisex. You’ll catch whiffs of a boozy touch in there that is one of the main reasons this is my favorite for winter wears. Then you’ll be greeted by some warm amber & a deep oud. I love stinky oud this ain’t that but it definitely gives that sweet plum & booze more structure giving this an amazing backbone in longevity & projection.
This stuff lasted over 8 hours last time I used it & that was like 2 months ago. This one can easily go over 10-12 hours with how heavy the scent is & not to mention oil concentration.
Even with this glowing review when I first got it I wasn’t the biggest fan. The plum came out as weak. Not sure if the formula was kept the same but I will say if you get this now let it sit till the winter time you’ll have no issues with it being a weak plum opening. Now as I am a big Tom ford fanatic I do own a lot of clones of the scent. So at first this wasn’t my #1 plum Japonais inspiration it was #3 or #4 but over time it has sat & matured & I will say it’s in battles for that #1 spot. I’ll definitely need to compare my current #1 with this one but no doubt in my mind this just barely beat it. This still has a lot more time to develop & I will surely be the best inspiration out there. Don’t sleep on it!
