Valhalla's Gamble is a pretty spot on interpretation of what a 50/50 of Aventus and 540 would be like, Absolutely fantastic fragrance and definitely need to grab a whole bottle because if you are going to grab any cross of these two you know they can be pretty terrible. This is spot on and an attention grabber for sure, little on the sweeter side so could lean unisex. Bold wear for sure.

Hands down THE BEST smelling “dupe” I’ve ever bought. Saw the scent rated 10/10 on TikTok and was impressed so I decided to order. Couldn’t find Barrett Fragrances on Amazon, so took the time to come to the site and I am so glad I did. This smells EXACTLY like aventus and baccarat when you layer them. Came back to leave a review and ordered Angel’s Share (Divine Intervention) while I was here. If it smells half as good as Valhalla’s Gamble, you will be hearing from me again!

Purchased this fragrance because of the unique scent profile. The scent is amazing but the longevity is very lackluster. I put it on at 8 am and by 1030 am I could barely smell it on skin and clothing. I thought I went nose blind and asked my wife to take a sniff and she said it was very very faint. I expected more out of an extrait and was disappointed. I'll let it sit for a while and see if it improves.

From the first spray- I said, "finally someone got it right!" I've done this mixture myself for a while. It was nice to find something that did the work for me. The only (slight) downside- instead of hitting the peppery/ spicy side of Aventis more, they also brought in the pineapple more than needed. Considering the already sweet scent of Baccarat, it makes it hard for the peppery spice to shine through. With that said, this is the first combo that didn't just smell like a fruit bowl, or fresh cut pineapple alone. Overall, a very well done mixture. I gave it five stars because it is so close to what I would consider perfect.

A nice mix of two very popular perfumes. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have much staying power. I may be anosmic to the ingredients in this perfume. I will give it a few months to see if maceration helps strengthen the scent.

Simply Perfection! Guys if you're looking for the One, this is it. This needs to be in your collection. While I enjoy all 15 of my Barrett Fragrances, Valhalla's Gamble is just pure perfection. You already know the atomizer is insane, and if you want a long-lasting compliment getter with every woman literally stopping in their tracks as you approach or walk on by, you have found the one.
