I bought this in hopes of finding an alternative to Absolu Aventus. I do have 2 bottles of Absolu Aventus because it is my favorite fragrance. This isn't the closest Absolu Aventus interpretation but it's damn good. I would say it's 80%-85% similar in the opening. But the dry down is great. It is much more smokey. The oakmoss gives it more depth. One of my favorite alternatives.
I absolutely love this cologne. I purchased the 10ml and liked it so much I ordered the full size bottle. This company has great customer service too. My order arrived only a few days after I placed the order. I will definitely be buying from them again.
While I don’t have the OG, this is everything I thought it would be and more! Because of the high quality & consistency, Barrett Fragrances is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands! Keep it up. LB

Well, I’ve had this for a few weeks now… if you can’t tell by how much juice I’ve used… I’d say it’s safe to say I love it. Compliments the first time I wore it. Absolute BANGER. This was my first purchase from Barrett, and I can’t wait to try more.

For those that are looking for an aventus flanker that is deeper and darker and geared more in my mind for the night this one is one you should try. I blind bought this one because of the hype from the original and I'm glad I did. It's got that beginning aventus you want with that sauvage elixir vibes dry down that I was hoping for in this flanker. Probably my favorite Valhalla from Barrett.
Do you want to smell absolutely stunning? Then you need to Valhalla absolu inspired by absolu aventus. You are first greeted with a super welcome citrus blend consisting of grapefruit & bergamot. You get a tab bit of the original aventus dna here. As this dries down that takes the backseat & lets the Mid take center stage coming in heavy with cinnamon & cardamom with supporting Essence of Ginger & citron. Really dark, rich & sophisticated at this point. Making our way to the dry disk of pink pepper, patchouli & vetiver giving us this dark rich aura of earthy & woody vibes as our setting foundation. The scent it 9.8/10 it’s the best on in the market currently available. This pushes about an arms length & you get about 10 hours with this fragrance here. Highly recommend checking it out as it’s possibly as close as anyone would get to absolu aventus.

Not only is this one of the best scents I have, it’s a beast mode! Barrett knocks it out of the park with Valhalla Absolu! Just absolutely fantastic! Gonna go through this one as I want to wear it all the time
Personally I feel like this has a completely different scent profile than the original. It is wearable, and they have not overdone the sweetness that most of the Absolu dupes have. This fragrance is its own thing, and it's pleasant, but if you're looking for a close clone of the original- this isn't it.
Barrett nails the Creed DNA and their Absolu clone is, IMHO, the best of the bunch and I sampled several of them. I bought a bottle and this is in primary rotation. It is Aventus, but more sophisticated. Perfect for a middle aged man in an office environment. Highly recommend. And, if you're sensitive to fragrances (headache, nausea or cloying ick), this is a winner.
Barrett nails the Creed DNA. I sampled a variety of the Creed clones, but prefer the Valhalla Absolu above the others. Ordered a bottle for primary rotation. Thanks for making such a great scent at an affordable price.

Its a 2 star, Same as Valhalla, too much oil, does not project as advertised on TikTok. It's a skin scent.

Great scent! Smells similar to the original Aventus. I have not smelled the Absolu version to compare it to, but this is a compliment getter. Just wish it lasted longer. Hopefully after more use and maceration the longevity will increase. Classy looking bottle, too! Great job, Barrett!

Last over 10 hours even took a shower, and it was still on my skin. This is going to be one of my signature scent. I wish it came in 100 ml bottles.
There really is no reason to buy the original for over $500 when you can get this for a fraction of the cost. The strength of this fragrance is superior to the original, and has the exact same DNA and note breakdown that gets you what you’re looking for. Simply outstanding!
Tried dupes from a couple other places and let me tell you this one here is my favorite it captures the fresh aspect of the fragrance a lot better and doesn't have that clone funk the others did.
